Dash & Stars
TENDAM commissioned Kutuko to create six creative loops for the Dash & Stars website. The pieces introduce six textile technologies through abstract animation and interactions between materials.
Translating textile technology into motion
Comfort, protection and fit become visual ideas through form, colour and movement. The approach communicates qualities that are difficult to convey through a still image of a garment.
Kutuko’s contribution
Development includes palette explorations and visual behaviour tests, such as the iterations of the Collagen Feel sphere. The loops share an art direction while giving each technology its own expression.
